They look like long blackberries, while their taste is reminiscent of raisins – very sweet and juicy. The three types most well-known in Europe are white, black and red mulberries. When they are dried, however, they lose their color and look sandy or transparent. Mulberries are a tasty, healthy and fiber-rich snack or an excellent addition to cereal.
White and black mulberries are native to China, while red mulberries are from the US.
