  • 1972 1972

    The "Handelsvertretung Horst Walberg" (Horst Walberg Sales Agency) is founded - arising out of "Handelsvertretung Alfred Walberg" (Alfred Walberg Sales Agency)

  • 1979

    The import firm Horst Walberg is founded.

  • 1989

    The import firm gets its current name - together with a transformation into a "GmbH" (close cooperation). Horst Walberg becomes its director.

  • 1992 1992

    Additionally to the conventional products, first organic farming products are imported - governmental authorized.

  • 2001 2001

    Thomas Walberg gets appointed to second director.

  • 2003 2003

    We move into new offices and a bigger storage. Our domicile still remains in Kisdorf, but is now located in Henstedter Straße 21.

  • 2004

    A new range of production arrives: In addition to our general import- and export storage business, we now also offer blending and chopping of dried fruit.

  • 2005

    The production gets even bigger: With a now launched modern packaging line, our customers can purchase retail-packaging: labeled "HOWA" or "private label".

  • 2011

    The premises is extended by new equipment and new machines start into operation. In this way we get an even greater product safety and increase our efficiency in handling goods.

  • 2012 2012

    A photovoltaic system is built on the premises. Hereby it is possible to cover almost the entire electricity needs of a year with the help of solar energy.

  • 2017 2017

    The company gets certified according to the IFS (International Featured Standard) Food at a higher level

  • 2021

    a roasting plant for nuts was put into operation. In addition to our wide range of products and services, we now also offer contract roasting and salting of nut products.
